Adaptive Aquatics for all Swimmers

At Aquanauts Swim Academy, we help swimmers of all ages and skill levels achieve their aquatic goals through private and semi-private lessons in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.

Our mission is to provide a unique swimming experience with a space-themed curriculum, offering personalized and mobile swim lessons, lifeguarding services, and adaptive aquatics. We focus on children and individuals with autism and diverse abilities, ensuring every swimmer feels safe, supported, and celebrated.

We envision a world where everyone — regardless of age, ability, or background — feels confident and secure in the water. By blending innovative teaching techniques with creativity and care, we aim to make swimming an exciting, enriching experience for all. Our team is dedicated to fostering water safety, skill development, and a lifelong love for swimming.

 Our Adaptive Approach

Specialized swim lessons designed for children with autism, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, and diverse learning needs.

We use a patient, individualized approach to help each swimmer feel safe, regulated, and confident in the water—at their own pace and comfort level!

Sensory-Friendly Environment

Quiet pools, minimal distractions, and controlled stimulation to create a comfortable learning space for sensory-sensitive children.

One-on-One Instruction

Each child receives dedicated, 1:1 support from instructors experienced in working with autism and diverse needs—allowing progress at the child’s own pace.

Visual Learning Tools

Picture schedules, visual aids, and social stories to help children understand and anticipate each lesson activity.

Benefits That Transform Lives

Water is a great equalizer. In our pools, children discover strengths they never knew they had.

Sensory Harmony

Water provides natural, calming sensory input. Our structured environment helps children feel more regulated, focused, and in control.

Motor Mastery

Water resistance builds strength without strain. Children develop coordination, balance, and motor planning in our gravity-reduced environment.

Emotional Resilience

The water's embrace naturally reduces anxiety. Children learn emotional regulation through the rhythmic, and therapeutic nature of aquatic movement.

Water Safety

Children with autism are at a higher risk around water. We focus on essential safety and self-rescue skills, taught with patience and repetition to ensure understanding.

Social Connection

From parallel play to collaborative games we help children build meaningful connections with instructors and staff at their own pace.

Confidence & Joy

Every kick, every splash, every moment of independence is celebrated. Success in water translates to confidence on land.
